18 The day following, Paul went in with us to James; and all the elders were present. On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present. The next day Paul and the rest of us went to see James, and all the elders were present.
19 When he had greeted them, he reported one by one the things which God had worked among the Gentiles through his ministry. After greeting them, he related one by one the things that God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry. Paul greeted them and reported in detail what God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.
20 They, when they heard it, glorified God. They said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law. And when they heard it, they glorified God. And they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. 21 They have been informed about you, that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children and not to walk after the customs. and they have been told about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or walk according to our customs. They have been informed that you teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn away from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or live according to our customs.
