Paul and Silvanus and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Paul, Silas and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
Grace to you⁺ and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We ought to thank God always concerning you⁺, brothers, just as it is worthy, because your⁺ faith is growing exceedingly, and the love of each one of you⁺ all to one another is increasing, We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.
so as for us ourselves to boast in you⁺ in the churches of God for your⁺ endurance and faith in all your⁺ persecutions and in the tribulations that you⁺ are bearing, Therefore we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your steadfastness and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions that you are enduring. Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.
a plain token of the righteous judgment of God, for you⁺ to be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which also you⁺ suffer. This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering— All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.
For indeed it is righteous with God to repay those oppressing you⁺ with tribulation, since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you, God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you
and to you⁺ being oppressed, relief with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of His power and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.
in a fire of flame, giving vengeance on those not knowing God and on those not obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus, in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
who will pay the penalty of eternal destruction away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might
when He shall come to be glorified in His saints and to be marveled at among all those having believed—because our testimony to you⁺ was believed—in that day. when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed. on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.
For this also we pray always for you⁺, that our God may count you⁺ worthy of the calling and may fulfill every good pleasure of goodness and work of faith in power, To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.
so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you⁺, and you⁺ in Him, according to the grace of our God and of the Lord Jesus Christ. so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
