3 וַיָּ֗שָׁב וַיִּ֙בֶן֙ אֶת־ הַבָּמ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִתַּ֖ץ יְחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ אָבִ֑יו וַיָּ֨קֶם מִזְבְּח֤וֹת לַבְּעָלִים֙ וַיַּ֣עַשׂ אֲשֵׁר֔וֹת וַיִּשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙ לְכָל־ צְבָ֣א הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֖ד אֹתָֽם׃ For he rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had broken down, and he erected altars to the Baals, and made Asheroth, and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them. He rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had demolished; he also erected altars to the Baals and made Asherah poles. He bowed down to all the starry hosts and worshiped them.
4 וּבָנָ֥ה מִזְבְּח֖וֹת בְּבֵ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה אֲשֶׁר֙ אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֥ם יִֽהְיֶה־ שְּׁמִ֖י לְעוֹלָֽם׃ And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, “In Jerusalem shall my name be forever.” He built altars in the temple of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, “My Name will remain in Jerusalem forever.”
5 וַיִּ֥בֶן מִזְבְּח֖וֹת לְכָל־ צְבָ֣א הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם בִּשְׁתֵּ֖י חַצְר֥וֹת בֵּית־ יְהוָֽה׃ And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD. In both courts of the temple of the LORD, he built altars to all the starry hosts.
