1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and sexual immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, namely, that someone has his father’s wife. It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father’s wife. It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife.
2 You have become arrogant and have not mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be removed from your midst. And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you. And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have gone into mourning and have put out of your fellowship the man who has been doing this?
3 For I, on my part, though absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has so committed this, as though I were present. For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing. For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus on the one who has been doing this.
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus, When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, So when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present,
5 I have decided to turn such a person over to Satan for the destruction of his body, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord. you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord. hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.

7 Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. 8 Therefore let’s celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 11 But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is a sexually immoral person, or a greedy person, or an idolater, or is verbally abusive, or habitually drunk, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a person. But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
12 For what business of mine is it to judge outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
13 But those who are outside, God judges. REMOVE THE EVIL PERSON FROM AMONG YOURSELVES. God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.” God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”
