1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and sexual immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, that someone has his father’s wife. It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father’s wife. It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife.
2 And you have become puffed up and have not mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be removed from your midst. And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you. And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have gone into mourning and have put out of your fellowship the man who has been doing this?
3 For I, on my part, though absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged him who has so committed this, as though I were present: For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing. For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus on the one who has been doing this.

But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.
12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Are you not to judge those who are within the church? For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
13 But those who are outside, God will judge. REMOVE THE WICKED MAN FROM AMONG YOURSELVES. God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.” God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”
