KJV Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew International Version
1A Psalm or Song for the sons of Korah. His foundation is in the holy mountains.1Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. A song. He has founded his city on the holy mountain.
2The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.2The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.
3Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.3Glorious things are said of you, city of God:
4I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.4"I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me-- Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush -- and will say, 'This one was born in Zion.'"
5And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.5Indeed, of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her."
6The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.6The LORD will write in the register of the peoples: "This one was born in Zion."
7As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.7As they make music they will sing, "All my fountains are in you."
