King James Bible | NET Bible |
1A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! | 1A song of ascents, by David. Look! How good and how pleasant it is when brothers live together! |
2It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; | 2It is like fine oil poured on the head which flows down the beard--Aaron's beard, and then flows down his garments. |
3As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. | 3It is like the dew of Hermon, which flows down upon the hills of Zion. Indeed that is where the LORD has decreed a blessing will be available--eternal life. |
