| 1I will give you thanks with all my heart; I will sing your praise before the heavenly beings. | 1A Psalm of David. I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. |
| 2I will bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your constant love and truth. You have exalted your name and your promise above everything else. | 2I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. |
| 3On the day I called, you answered me; you increased strength within me. | 3In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul. |
| 4All the kings on earth will give you thanks, LORD, when they hear what you have promised. | 4All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth. |
| 5They will sing of the LORD's ways, for the LORD's glory is great. | 5Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD. |
| 6Though the LORD is exalted, he takes note of the humble; but he knows the haughty from a distance. | 6Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off. |
| 7If I walk into the thick of danger, you will preserve my life from the anger of my enemies. You will extend your hand; your right hand will save me. | 7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me. |
| 8The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me. LORD, your faithful love endures forever; do not abandon the work of your hands. | 8The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. |
