The Poor in Spirit are Enriched with a Kingdom
The same happens to all who forget God. The hopes of the godless evaporate.
But the wicked will be blinded. They will have no escape. Their only hope is death."
The wicked will see this and be infuriated. They will grind their teeth in anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted.
When the wicked die, their hopes die with them, for they rely on their own feeble strength.
The godly can look forward to a reward, while the wicked can expect only judgment.
