13:16 Unto white - As it is usual with sores, when they begin to be healed, the skin which is white, coming upon the flesh.
In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground, begging to be healed. "Lord," he said, "if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean."
The priest must make this pronouncement as soon as he sees an open sore, since open sores indicate the presence of a skin disease.
for another examination. If the affected areas have indeed turned white, the priest will then pronounce the person ceremonially clean by declaring, 'You are clean!'
