This is what the LORD says: "When I bring Israel home again from captivity and restore their fortunes, Jerusalem will be rebuilt on its ruins, and the palace reconstructed as before.

Then King David turned to the entire assembly and said, "My son Solomon, whom God has clearly chosen as the next king of Israel, is still young and inexperienced. The work ahead of him is enormous, for the Temple he will build is not for mere mortals--it is for the LORD God himself!
1 Chronicles 29:19
Give my son Solomon the wholehearted desire to obey all your commands, laws, and decrees, and to do everything necessary to build this Temple, for which I have made these preparations."
God himself is in Jerusalem's towers, revealing himself as its defender.
Take note of the fortified walls, and tour all the citadels, that you may describe them to future generations.
For the choir director: A psalm of the descendants of Korah. LORD, you poured out blessings on your land! You restored the fortunes of Israel.
You will arise and have mercy on Jerusalem--and now is the time to pity her, now is the time you promised to help.
O Jerusalem, may there be peace within your walls and prosperity in your palaces.
