'According To' --I.
A psalm of David. The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet."
He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal--it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.
Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.
When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God's right hand.
But God released him from the horrors of death and raised him back to life, for death could not keep him in its grip.
"God raised Jesus from the dead, and we are all witnesses of this.
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.
