And testified - Spoke with great earnestness.
Shall betray me - Παραδωσει με, Will deliver me up. Judas had already betrayed our blessed Lord, and he was now on the point of delivering him up into the hands of the chief priests. By all these warnings, did not our Lord intend that Judas should be benefited? - that he should repent of his iniquity, and turn and find mercy?

Cannot and Can
And while they were eating, he said, "Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me."
While they were reclining at the table eating, he said, "Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me--one who is eating with me."
But the hand of him who is going to betray me is with mine on the table.
When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled.
"I am not referring to all of you; I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfill this passage of Scripture: 'He who shared my bread has turned against me.'
His disciples stared at one another, at a loss to know which of them he meant.
