Dimensions and Materials

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
3The foundation Solomon laid for building the temple of God was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide (using the cubit of the old standard).3These are Solomon’s measurements for building the house of God: the length, in cubits of the old standard, was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.3Now these are the foundations which Solomon laid for building the house of God. The length in cubits, according to the old standard was sixty cubits, and the width twenty cubits.3Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.3These are Solomon's foundations for building God's temple: the length was 90 feet, and the width 30 feet.
4The portico at the front of the temple was twenty cubits long across the width of the building and twenty cubits high. He overlaid the inside with pure gold.4The vestibule in front of the nave of the house was twenty cubits long, equal to the width of the house, and its height was 120 cubits. He overlaid it on the inside with pure gold.4The porch which was in front of the house was as long as the width of the house, twenty cubits, and the height 120; and inside he overlaid it with pure gold.4And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.4The portico, which was across the front extending across the width of the temple, was 30 feet wide; its height was 30 feet; he overlaid its inner surface with pure gold.

(1 Kings 6:14-22)

5He paneled the main hall with juniper and covered it with fine gold and decorated it with palm tree and chain designs.5The nave he lined with cypress and covered it with fine gold and made palms and chains on it.5He overlaid the main room with cypress wood and overlaid it with fine gold, and ornamented it with palm trees and chains.5And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.5The larger room he paneled with cypress wood, overlaid with fine gold, and decorated with palm trees and chains.
6He adorned the temple with precious stones. And the gold he used was gold of Parvaim.6He adorned the house with settings of precious stones. The gold was gold of Parvaim.6Further, he adorned the house with precious stones; and the gold was gold from Parvaim.6And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.6He adorned the temple with precious stones for beauty, and the gold was the gold of Parvaim.

7He overlaid the ceiling beams, doorframes, walls and doors of the temple with gold, and he carved cherubim on the walls.7So he lined the house with gold—its beams, its thresholds, its walls, and its doors—and he carved cherubim on the walls.7He also overlaid the house with gold-- the beams, the thresholds and its walls and its doors; and he carved cherubim on the walls.7He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.7He overlaid the temple--the beams, the thresholds, its walls and doors--with gold, and he carved cherubim on the walls.
8He built the Most Holy Place, its length corresponding to the width of the temple--twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. He overlaid the inside with six hundred talents of fine gold.8And he made the Most Holy Place. Its length, corresponding to the breadth of the house, was twenty cubits, and its breadth was twenty cubits. He overlaid it with 600 talents of fine gold.8Now he made the room of the holy of holies: its length across the width of the house was twenty cubits, and its width was twenty cubits; and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to 600 talents.8And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.8Then he made the most holy place; its length corresponded to the width of the temple, 30 feet, and its width was 30 feet. He overlaid it with 45,000 pounds of fine gold.
9The gold nails weighed fifty shekels. He also overlaid the upper parts with gold.9The weight of gold for the nails was fifty shekels. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.9The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. He also overlaid the upper rooms with gold.9And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. The Veil and Pillars

(1 Kings 7:13-22)

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
14He made the curtain of blue, purple and crimson yarn and fine linen, with cherubim worked into it.14And he made the veil of blue and purple and crimson fabrics and fine linen, and he worked cherubim on it.14He made the veil of violet, purple, crimson and fine linen, and he worked cherubim on it.14And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.14He made the veil of blue, purple, and crimson yarn and fine linen, and he wove cherubim into it.
15For the front of the temple he made two pillars, which together were thirty-five cubits long, each with a capital five cubits high.15In front of the house he made two pillars thirty-five cubits high, with a capital of five cubits on the top of each.15He also made two pillars for the front of the house, thirty-five cubits high, and the capital on the top of each was five cubits.15Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.15In front of the temple he made two pillars, each 27 feet high. The capital on top of each was 7 1/2 feet high.
16He made interwoven chains and put them on top of the pillars. He also made a hundred pomegranates and attached them to the chains.16He made chains like a necklace and put them on the tops of the pillars, and he made a hundred pomegranates and put them on the chains.16He made chains in the inner sanctuary and placed them on the tops of the pillars; and he made one hundred pomegranates and placed them on the chains.16And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.16He had made chainwork in the inner sanctuary and also put it on top of the pillars. He made 100 pomegranates and fastened them into the chainwork.
17He erected the pillars in the front of the temple, one to the south and one to the north. The one to the south he named Jakin and the one to the north Boaz.17He set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the south, the other on the north; that on the south he called Jachin, and that on the north Boaz.17He erected the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right and the other on the left, and named the one on the right Jachin and the one on the left Boaz.17And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.17Then he set up the pillars in front of the sanctuary, one on the right and one on the left. He named the one on the right Jachin and the one on the left Boaz.
