Aaron's Staff Buds

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
The LORD said to Moses,1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,1Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,1The LORD instructed Moses: "
"Speak to the Israelites and get twelve staffs from them, one from the leader of each of their ancestral tribes. Write the name of each man on his staff.2“Speak to the people of Israel, and get from them staffs, one for each fathers’ house, from all their chiefs according to their fathers’ houses, twelve staffs. Write each man’s name on his staff,2"Speak to the sons of Israel, and get from them a rod for each father's household: twelve rods, from all their leaders according to their fathers' households. You shall write each name on his rod,2Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod.2Speak to the Israelites and take one staff from them for each ancestral house, 12 staffs from all the leaders of their ancestral houses. Write each man's name on his staff.
On the staff of Levi write Aaron's name, for there must be one staff for the head of each ancestral tribe.3and write Aaron’s name on the staff of Levi. For there shall be one staff for the head of each fathers’ house.3and write Aaron's name on the rod of Levi; for there is one rod for the head of each of their fathers' households.3And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.3Write Aaron's name on Levi's staff, because there must be one staff for the head of each ancestral house.
Place them in the tent of meeting in front of the ark of the covenant law, where I meet with you.4Then you shall deposit them in the tent of meeting before the testimony, where I meet with you.4"You shall then deposit them in the tent of meeting in front of the testimony, where I meet with you.4And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.4Then place them in the tent of meeting in front of the testimony where I meet with you.

The staff belonging to the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid myself of this constant grumbling against you by the Israelites."5And the staff of the man whom I choose shall sprout. Thus I will make to cease from me the grumblings of the people of Israel, which they grumble against you.”5"It will come about that the rod of the man whom I choose will sprout. Thus I will lessen from upon Myself the grumblings of the sons of Israel, who are grumbling against you."5And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.5The staff of the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid Myself of the Israelites' complaints that they have been making about you."
So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and their leaders gave him twelve staffs, one for the leader of each of their ancestral tribes, and Aaron's staff was among them.6Moses spoke to the people of Israel. And all their chiefs gave him staffs, one for each chief, according to their fathers’ houses, twelve staffs. And the staff of Aaron was among their staffs.6Moses therefore spoke to the sons of Israel, and all their leaders gave him a rod apiece, for each leader according to their fathers' households, twelve rods, with the rod of Aaron among their rods.6And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.6So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and each of their leaders gave him a staff, one for each of the leaders of their ancestral houses, 12 staffs in all. Aaron's staff was among them.
Moses placed the staffs before the LORD in the tent of the covenant law.7And Moses deposited the staffs before the LORD in the tent of the testimony.7So Moses deposited the rods before the LORD in the tent of the testimony.7And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.7Moses placed the staffs before the LORD in the tent of the testimony.
The next day Moses entered the tent and saw that Aaron's staff, which represented the tribe of Levi, had not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds.8On the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony, and behold, the staff of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds.8Now on the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony; and behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds.8And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.8The next day Moses entered the tent of the testimony and saw that Aaron's staff, representing the house of Levi, had sprouted, formed buds, blossomed, and produced almonds!
Then Moses brought out all the staffs from the LORD's presence to all the Israelites. They looked at them, and each of the leaders took his own staff.9Then Moses brought out all the staffs from before the LORD to all the people of Israel. And they looked, and each man took his staff.9Moses then brought out all the rods from the presence of the LORD to all the sons of Israel; and they looked, and each man took his rod.9And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.9Moses then brought out all the staffs from the LORD's presence to all the Israelites. They saw them, and each man took his own staff.

The LORD said to Moses, "Put back Aaron's staff in front of the ark of the covenant law, to be kept as a sign to the rebellious. This will put an end to their grumbling against me, so that they will not die."10And the LORD said to Moses, “Put back the staff of Aaron before the testimony, to be kept as a sign for the rebels, that you may make an end of their grumblings against me, lest they die.”10But the LORD said to Moses, "Put back the rod of Aaron before the testimony to be kept as a sign against the rebels, that you may put an end to their grumblings against Me, so that they will not die."10And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.10The LORD told Moses, "Put Aaron's staff back in front of the testimony to be kept as a sign for the rebels, so that you may put an end to their complaints before Me, or else they will die."
Moses did just as the LORD commanded him.11Thus did Moses; as the LORD commanded him, so he did.11Thus Moses did; just as the LORD had commanded him, so he did.11And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.11So Moses did as the LORD commanded him.
The Israelites said to Moses, "We will die! We are lost, we are all lost!12And the people of Israel said to Moses, “Behold, we perish, we are undone, we are all undone.12Then the sons of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, "Behold, we perish, we are dying, we are all dying!12And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.12Then the Israelites declared to Moses, "Look, we're perishing! We're lost; we're all lost!
Anyone who even comes near the tabernacle of the LORD will die. Are we all going to die?"13Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the LORD, shall die. Are we all to perish?”13"Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the LORD, must die. Are we to perish completely?"13Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?13Anyone who comes near the LORD's tabernacle will die. Will we all perish?"
