Isaiah 28:12
to whom he said, "This is the resting place, let the weary rest"; and, "This is the place of repose"-- but they would not listen.

God has told his people, "Here is a place of rest; let the weary rest here. This is a place of quiet rest." But they would not listen.

to whom he has said, “This is rest; give rest to the weary; and this is repose”; yet they would not hear.

He who said to them, "Here is rest, give rest to the weary," And, "Here is repose," but they would not listen.

To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

He had said to them:" This is the place of rest, let the weary rest; this is the place of repose." But they would not listen.

In the past he said to them, "This is where security can be found. Provide security for the one who is exhausted! This is where rest can be found." But they refused to listen.

He will say to them, "This is a place for comfort. This is a place of rest for those who are tired. This is a place for them to rest." But they weren't willing to listen.

To whom he said, This is the rest with which ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

On im reče: Evo počinka, dajte umornom da otpočine! Evo odmora! Ali ne htjedoše poslušati.
