Und Jethro, Moses Schwäher, nahm Brandopfer und opferte Gott. Da kam Aaron und alle Ältesten in Israel, mit Moses Schwäher das Brot zu essen vor Gott.

Und Jethro, Mose's Schwiegervater, brachte Gott ein Brandopfer mit Dankopfern. Da kamen Aaron und alle Ältesten in Israel, mit Mose's Schwiegervater das Brot zu essen vor Gott.

Hierauf ließ Jethro, der Schwiegervater Moses, Schlachtvieh zu einem Brandopfer und zu einer Opfermahlzeit zu Ehren Gottes herbeischaffen, und es kamen Aaron und alle Vornehmen der Israeliten herbei, um mit dem Schwiegervater Moses ein Mahl vor Gott zu halten.

KELUARAN 18:12
Maka dipersembahkan oleh Jetero, mentua Musa, korban bakaran dan korban sembelihan kepada Allah, maka Harun dan segala penghulu Israelpun datanglah makan sehidangan dengan mentua Musa di hadapan hadirat Allah.
