Aber Rizpa, die Tochter Ajas, nahm ihr Trauergewand und machte sich daraus ein Lager auf dem Felsen zurecht vom Beginn der Ernte an, bis Regen vom Himmel auf die Toten niederfiel, und verhinderte so, daß die Vögel unter dem Himmel bei Tag und die wilden Tiere bei Nacht sich über sie her machten.
