When the people of Ashdod rose early the next day, there was Dagon, fallen on his face on the ground before the ark of the LORD! They took Dagon and put him back in his place.

But when the citizens of Ashdod went to see it the next morning, Dagon had fallen with his face to the ground in front of the Ark of the LORD! So they took Dagon and put him in his place again.

And when the people of Ashdod rose early the next day, behold, Dagon had fallen face downward on the ground before the ark of the LORD. So they took Dagon and put him back in his place.

Sutradan ujutro, kad su žitelji Ašdoda došli u hram Dagonov, gle, Dagon ležaše ničice na zemlji pred Kovčegom Jahvinim. Oni digoše Dagona i metnuše ga natrag na njegovo mjesto.

No dia seguinte, ao romper da manhã, os moradores de Asdode observaram que a imagem de Dagom estava caída de cara no chão, exatamente da frente da Arca do SENHOR! Imediatamente eles ergueram a estátua de Dagom e a colocaram de volta em seu lugar.

Levantando-se, porém, de madrugada no dia seginte os de Asdode, eis que Dagom estava caído com o rosto em terra diante da arca do Senhor; e tomaram a Dagom, e tornaram a pô-lo no seu lugar.
