He that remaineth yashab (yaw-shab') to sit down (specifically as judge. in ambush, in quiet); by implication, to dwell, to remain; causatively, to settle, to marry in this city `iyr (eer) or (in the plural) par {awr}; or ayar (Judges 10:4) {aw-yar'}; a city (a place guarded by waking or a watch) in the widest sense (even of a mere encampment or post) -- Ai (from margin), city, court (from margin), town. shall die muwth (mooth) causatively, to kill by the sword chereb (kheh'-reb) drought; also a cutting instrument (from its destructive effect), as a knife, sword, or other sharp implement -- axe, dagger, knife, mattock, sword, tool. by the famine ra`ab (raw-awb') hunger (more or less extensive) -- dearth, famine, + famished, hunger. and by the pestilence deber (deh'-ber) a pestilence -- murrain, pestilence, plague. but he that goeth forth yatsa' (yaw-tsaw') to go (causatively, bring) out, in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively, direct and proxim. to the Chaldeans Kasdiy (kas-dee') Chaldeans, Chaldees, inhabitants of Chaldea. shall live chayah (khaw-yaw') to live, whether literally or figuratively; causatively, to revive for he shall have his life nephesh (neh'-fesh) a breathing creature, i.e. animal of (abstractly) vitality; used very widely in a literal, accommodated or figurative sense (bodily or mental) for a prey shalal (shaw-lawl') booty -- prey, spoil. and shall live chayah (khaw-yaw') to live, whether literally or figuratively; causatively, to revive chayay (khaw-yah'-ee) to live; causatively to revive -- live, save life.
