2For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. | 2for behold, the wicked bend the bow; they have fitted their arrow to the string to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart; | 2For, behold, the wicked bend the bow, They make ready their arrow upon the string To shoot in darkness at the upright in heart. | 2For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. | 2For look, the wicked string the bow; they put the arrow on the bowstring to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. |

4The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. 5The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion. | 5The LORD tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence. | 5The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates. | 5The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. | 5The LORD examines the righteous and the wicked. He hates the lover of violence. |
6On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. | 6Let him rain coals on the wicked; fire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup. | 6Upon the wicked He will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup. | 6Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. | 6He will rain burning coals and sulfur on the wicked; a scorching wind will be their portion. |
