2 Timothy 1 Greek Transliterated Bible
Paul's love to Timothy, and unfeigned confidence in Timothy himself, his mother, and grandmother.
   3 charin  echō  tō  theō,  ō  latreuō  apo  progonōn  en  kathara  suneidēsei,  ōs  adialeipton  echō  tēn  peri  sou  mneian  en  tais  deēsesin  mou  nuktos  kai  ēmeras,  4 epipothōn  se  idein,  memnēmenos  sou  tōn  dakruōn,  ina  charas  plērōthō,  5 upomnēsin  labōn  tēs  en  soi  anupokritou  pisteōs,  ētis  enōkēsen  prōton  en  tē  mammē  sou  lōidi  kai  tē  mētri  sou  eunikē,  pepeismai  de  oti  kai  en  soi. 
He is exhorted to stir up the gift of God which was in him;
to be steadfast and patient in persecution;
      9 tou  sōsantos  ēmas 
            kai  kalesantos  klēsei  agia, 
         ou  kata  ta  erga  ēmōn 
            alla  kata  idian  prothesin  kai  charin, 
         tēn  dotheisan  ēmin  en  christō  iēsou 
            pro  chronōn  aiōniōn, 
         10 phanerōtheisan  de  nun 
            dia  tēs  epiphaneias  tou  sōtēros  ēmōn 
               christou  iēsou, 
         katargēsantos  men  ton  thanaton 
            phōtisantos  de  zōēn  kai  aphtharsian 
               dia  tou  euangeliou 
11 eis  o  etethēn  egō  kērux  kai  apostolos  kai  didaskalos,  12 di  ēn  aitian  kai  tauta  paschō·  all  ouk  epaischunomai,  oida  gar  ō  pepisteuka  kai  pepeismai  oti  dunatos  estin  tēn  parathēkēn  mou  phulaxai  eis  ekeinēn  tēn  ēmeran. 
and to persist in the form and truth of that doctrine which he had learned of him.
Phygellus and Hermogenes, and such like, are noted, and Onesiphorus is highly commended.
