After talking with the apostles, the Lord was taken to heaven, where God gave him the highest position.
As they were walking along the road, a man said to Jesus, "I'll follow you wherever you go."
Then Jesus traveled and taught in one city and village after another on his way to Jerusalem.
Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee on his way to Jerusalem.
Jesus took the twelve apostles aside and said to them, "We're going to Jerusalem. Everything that the prophets wrote about the Son of Man will come true.
Jesus was getting closer to Jerusalem, and the people thought that the kingdom of God would appear suddenly. While Jesus had the people's attention, he used this illustration.
After Jesus had given this illustration, he continued on his way to Jerusalem.
