Son (τέκνον)

Lit., child.

Receivedst (ἀπέλαβες)

Received back (ἀπό) as a reward or quittance. Compare Luke 6:34; Luke 18:30; Luke 23:41.

Gulf (χάσμα)

From χάσκω, to yawn. Transcribed into the English chasm. In medical language, of the cavities in a wound or ulcer.

Is fixed (ἐστήρικται)

Compare Luke 22:32; and see on 1 Peter 5:10.
