Sirach 34:19
Good News Translation
The Most High gets no pleasure from sacrifices made by ungodly people; no amount of sacrifices can make up for their sins.

New Revised Standard Version
The eyes of the Lord are on those who love him, a mighty shield and strong support, a shelter from scorching wind and a shade from noonday sun, a guard against stumbling and a help against falling.

Contemporary English Version
And if you love the Lord, he will give you strength and keep you from falling. He will be your shield, protecting you and giving shade from the burning heat of the summer sun at noon.
