Sirach 32:3
Good News Translation
If you are older than most of the guests, you may talk; that is your right. But you should know what you are talking about and not interrupt the music.

New Revised Standard Version
Speak, you who are older, for it is your right, but with accurate knowledge, and do not interrupt the music.

If you are an older guest, it is right for you to talk. But be sure what you say is true, and don't talk during the music
