"You have saved your life by coming down here to see our general. Some of us will take you to his headquarters and present you to him.

“You have saved your life by hurrying down to see our lord. Go at once to his tent; some of us will escort you and hand you over to him.

"You have saved your life by being eager to talk to General Holofernes. Some of us will take you to his tent and arrange for you to see him.
