1 Maccabees 9:8
Good News Translation
He was discouraged, but he said to those who were still with him, "Let's prepare for the attack; maybe we can still defeat them."

He became faint, but he said to those who were left, “Let us get up and go against our enemies. We may have the strength to fight them.”

Judas felt like giving up, but he said to his remaining troops, "Get ready to attack! We've got a good chance to win."
