Good News Translation
Judas was the first to cross the river against the enemy, and all his men followed him. The Gentiles broke ranks before them, threw away their arms, and fled to the pagan temple at Karnaim.

Then he crossed over against them first, and the whole army followed him. All the Gentiles were defeated before him, and they threw away their arms and fled into the sacred precincts at Carnaim.

Afterwards, Judas led all the troops across and wiped out Timothy's army. The enemies threw down their weapons and ran for safety to a temple in the town of Carnaim.
