1 Maccabees 5:42
Good News Translation
When Judas reached the bank of the river, he gave orders to his officers to let no one stop but to push everyone forward into battle.

New Revised Standard Version
When Judas approached the stream of water, he stationed the officers of the army at the stream and gave them this command, “Permit no one to encamp, but make them all enter the battle.”

Contemporary English Version
Judas ordered his troops to move close to the stream, then he told his officers, "Stand here beside the stream and make sure that no one stays behind to set up camp. Everyone must join in the attack."

But when Judas reached the flowing wadi, he stationed the officers of the people beside it and gave them this order: “Do not allow anyone to encamp; all must go into battle.”
