1 Maccabees 12:27
Good News Translation
At sunset Jonathan ordered all his soldiers to be on the alert and to have their weapons ready for a surprise attack any time during the night. He also stationed guards all around the camp.

So when the sun had set, Jonathan commanded his troops to be alert and to keep their arms at hand so as to be ready all night for battle, and he stationed outposts around the camp.

At sunset, Jonathan stationed some of his troops on lookout duty around the camp, and he told the others, "Stay awake and be ready to fight at any time."
