"Jews may be enlisted in the royal army up to a total of 30,000 men, and they will receive the same pay as other royal troops.

“Let Jews be enrolled in the king’s forces to the number of thirty thousand men, and let the maintenance be given them that is due to all the forces of the king.

I will let as many as 30,000 Jewish soldiers join my army, and they will be paid the same as the other soldiers.
