The blast was that which slew one hundred and eighty-five thousand of them in one night, see 2 Kings 19:35. Cause him to fall by the sword - Alluding to his death by the hands of his two sons, at Nineveh. See 2 Kings 19:35-37. 2 Kings 7:6 for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, "Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!"
