Titus 3
Easy Reader Bible: Purple Letter EditionKJP
1Remind believers to submit to rulers and authorities, to obey its officers, and be ready to do whatever is good, 2To slander no one, to be peaceful, considerate, gentle, and humble toward everyone.

3For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, driven by various lusts and desires, living lives marked with evil and envy, often hating one another. 4But after the kindness and love of God, our Savior, appeared - 5Not due to our righteousness, or what we had done, but because of His mercy, He saved us by the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6Which He generously poured out upon us through Jesus Christ, our Savior, 7So that, having been justified by His grace, we might inherit eternal life.

8This is a trustworthy saying, and these things I want you to constantly affirm and stress, so that all those who have trusted in God might be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These teachings are good and profitable for everyone. 9But don’t waste your time discussing spiritual pedigrees and genealogies, and quarrels about obedience to Jewish laws; for they are unprofitable and useless. 10If someone, after you have warned them the first and second time, persists in divisive heresy, have nothing more to do with him; 11Since you know that such a person is warped, sinful, being self-condemned.

12I shall send Artemas or Tychicus to you. As soon as one of them arrives, do your best to meet me at Nicopolis; for I have decided to stay for the winter there. 13Do all you can to help Zenas, the lawyer, and Apollos on their journey, so that they are not lacking what they might need. 14And let our people also learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, to provide for urgent needs, and not live unproductive lives. 15All that are with me send you greetings. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
