Justice of God

The justice of God is a fundamental attribute that reflects His moral perfection and righteousness. It is the principle by which God administers His creation, ensuring that good is rewarded and evil is punished. God's justice is impartial and unchanging, rooted in His holy nature.

In the Old Testament, God's justice is evident in His dealings with nations and individuals. For instance, in Deuteronomy 32:4, it is declared, "He is the Rock, His work is perfect; all His ways are just. A God of faithfulness without injustice, righteous and upright is He." This verse underscores the perfection and fairness of God's actions.

The Mosaic Law, given to Israel, reflects God's standards of justice, as seen in Leviticus 19:15: "You must not pervert justice; you must not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the rich; you are to judge your neighbor fairly."

Romans 3:25-26 explains, "God presented Him as the atoning sacrifice through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had passed over the sins committed beforehand. He did this to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and to justify the one who has faith in Jesus." Here, God's justice is satisfied through the sacrificial death of Christ, allowing Him to remain just while justifying sinners.

Wisdom of God

The wisdom of God is another essential attribute, reflecting His perfect knowledge and understanding. God's wisdom is evident in creation, providence, and redemption, guiding His actions and decisions with purpose and precision.

Scripture frequently extols the wisdom of God. In Job 12:13, it is proclaimed, "Wisdom and strength belong to God; counsel and understanding are His." This verse highlights God's possession of wisdom and His ability to apply it effectively.

The wisdom of God is manifest in creation, as seen in Psalm 104:24: "How many are Your works, O LORD! In wisdom You have made them all; the earth is full of Your creatures." The intricate design and order of the universe testify to God's wise craftsmanship.

In the New Testament, the wisdom of God is personified in Jesus Christ. Colossians 2:3 states, "In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Christ embodies divine wisdom, revealing God's plan of salvation and the mystery of His will.

Romans 8:28 assures believers, "And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose."
