The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus are seen as the fulfillment of God's redemptive purpose. In John 3:16 , the purpose of Christ's mission is succinctly stated: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Ephesians 2:10 declares, "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life." This passage highlights the collective purpose of believers to reflect God's glory and proclaim His virtues.

Eschatological Fulfillment

The ultimate fulfillment of divine design and purpose is anticipated in eschatological promises. Revelation 21:1-4 envisions the culmination of God's plan: "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: 'Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.'"

This vision of a renewed creation reflects the ultimate realization of God's design and purpose, where His presence is fully realized among His people, and creation is restored to its intended glory.
