ἀντίθεσις ((τίθημι, from Plato down), ἀντιθεσεως, ;

a. opposition.

b. that which is opposed: 1 Timothy 6:20, (ἀντιθέσεις τῆς ψευδωνύμου γνώσεως, the inventions of false knowledge, either mutually oppugnant, or opposed to true Christian doctrine).
