A beast rises out of the sea with seven heads and ten horns, to whom the dragon gives his power. |
| 9 Εἴ τις ἔχει οὖς ἀκουσάτω |
| 10 εἴ τις εἰς. αἰχμαλωσίαν εἰς αἰχμαλωσίαν ὑπάγει, |
| εἴ τις ἐν μαχαίρῃ ἀποκτενεῖ |
| δεῖ αὐτὸν ἐν μαχαίρῃ ἀποκτανθῆναι. |
| Ὧδε ἐστιν ἡ ὑπομονὴ καὶ ἡ πίστις τῶν ἁγίων. |
Another beast comes out of the earth, |
causes an image to be made of the former beast, |
and that men should worship it, |
and receive his mark. |
