Romans 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. A well-known missionary tells of a poor African woman who once said to him that she had two hearts, one saying, "Come to Jesus," the other saying, "Stay away"; the one bidding her to do good, and the other bidding her to do evil; so that she knew not what to do. He read to her the seventh chapter of the Romans. When he came to the verse, "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?" she said, "Ah, Master, that me; and me know not what to do."
