IN ITS ORIGIN. From heaven. All truth is Divine. II. IN ITS OPERATION. "Watereth the earth." The Gospel changes the human heart and promotes and nourishes all that is good. III. IN ITS BENEFITS. "That it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater." The Gospel gives instruction, comfort, and strength to men, and brings forth a harvest of fruit for God. IV. IN ITS FINAL RESULTS.
