Huxley says: "The wonderful noonday silence of a tropical forest is, after all, due only to the dulness of our hearing; and could the ears catch the murmurs of these tiny maelstroms, as they whirl in the countless myriads of living ceils which constitute each tree, we should be stunned as with the roar of a great city." Thus it is not said that because we have no sensation of them these murmurs have no existence. We claim the argument for God and for the spiritual world.
