Isaiah 10:12 Why it shall come to pass, that when the Lord has performed his whole work on mount Zion and on Jerusalem… 1. God designed to do good to Zion and Jerusalem by this providence. When God lets loose the enemies of His Church and people, and suffers them for a time to prevail, it is in order to the performing of some great good work upon them; and when that is done, then, and not till then, He will work deliverance for them. 2.
