His words show accuracy of observation and calculation. I. There are many striking features in the character of this woman. Her motherly care, energy, humility, pleading; but Christ selected only one. Faith the root of all, Some think we make too much of faith, and place it out of its proper proportion. II. The elements which went to make the "great faith." Sorrow seems to have been, if not the cradle, yet the school of her faith.
