Having neither beginning of days nor end of years, He is a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. But the views which His people have of Him are extremely varied. According to our progress in grace will be the standpoint from which we view the Saviour; and according to the position from which we look at Him, will be what we see of Him. I. THE VALUE OF THIS VISION TO US. 1. It is a representation of the same Christ who suffered for our sins. 2. It represents to us what Christ is now. 3. It represents what He is to the Churches. 4. The effect it would have upon us if we really felt and understood it.We should fall at His feet as dead. Blessed position!
