Esther 5:13
Yet all this avails me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's gate.


In treating upon these words I shall endeavour to show —

I. THAT THE DISCONTENT THEY EXPRESS IS COMMON WITH PERSONS IN EVERY POSSIBLE CONDITION OF LIFE.

II. ITS EVIL AND RUINOUS NATURE.

III. ITS CONTRARIETY TO THE CHRISTIAN TEMPER.
