Exodus 19:1-2 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt… 1. Months and days from Egyptian bondage are fit to be recorded. 2. Days are set by God for the Church's gradual progress to their rest; it fails not (ver, 1). 3. From Rephidim to Sinai, or from straits and trials to some rest and doctrine God removes His Church. 4.
