By the voice of conscience. 2. By sickness. 3. By the death of friends. 4. By His Word. 5. By His ordinances, ministers, etc. And thus He is now speaking to us. Be not deaf to these calls. III. THE CHARACTER REQUIRED OF THOSE WHO HAVE MADE UP THEIR MINDS TO FOLLOW CHRIST. They must be self-denying, and, if need be, a suffering people (Titus 2:11, 12).
