For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.


After the suppression of the Sepoy revolt, the British Government spent a week in melting down the vast array of weapons of all sorts accumulated by the disarming of a large portion of the people of Northern India.
