1 THE word of the LORD against the land of Hadrach and against Damascus, which shall be a gift to him; for to the LORD are revealed the ways of men and of all the tribes of Israel; 2 Against Hamath also which borders Damascus, and Tyre and Sidon, though they have become very wise. 3 Tyre has built herself a stronghold and heaped up silver like dust, and gold like the mire of the streets. 4 Therefore, the LORD will destroy her and cast her wealth into the sea; and she shall be devoured by fire.
