1 A Maskil of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the loving devotion of YHWH forever. To generation and generation I will make known Your faithfulness with my mouth. 2 For I have said, “Loving devotion is built up forever; the heavens—You establish Your faithfulness in them.” 3 “I have cut a covenant with My chosen one, I have sworn to David My servant: 4 ‘Even to forever I will establish Your seed, and build up for generation and generation your throne.’” Selah 5 and the heavens will praise Your wonders, O YHWH, and Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones. 6 For who in the heavens can be compared to YHWH, likened to YHWH among the sons of the mighty? 7 God is to be feared greatly in the council of the holy ones, and to be revered by all those surrounding Him.
